This Thursday (that's tomorrow already!) Aaron and I will be getting our fingerprints done. That is required by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service. We are waiting for our court date to be assigned. I'm really not sure when that could happen. We'll have to travel to Ethiopia twice--once for our court date and then again to pick up our children and bring them home. Those 2 trips will be a few weeks apart. We are adopting 2 beautiful 8+ year old children--a boy and a girl cousins. Their pictures are up on our wall and we talk about them everyday, but it's so strange to realize that they know nothing about us yet.
Today was the first day of school for our 3 kids. S. is now in 2nd grade, I. is in 4th grade and P. is in 5th grade. This is P.'s last year in the elementary school. Time really does fly by.
